Senior Software Engineer - Java & AWS

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java & AWS
Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+Months
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and AWS skills to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and Data Engineering or Big Data technologies.
Required Skills7+ years of software development experience.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with Data Engineering, ETL, or Big Data technologies.
Experience with application design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, application security, and production support.
Experience working with enterprise applications and databases.
Preferred SkillsExperience with Ab Initio.
Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, or other Big Data technologies.
Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
Familiarity with React.js, Angular, or other front-end technologies.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
Build and support cloud-based solutions using AWS.
Develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs.
Work with data processing and integration solutions.
Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.
Follow secure coding practices and CI/CD standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
