Sap Sales Distribution Consultant

Location: Chicago, IL - Onsite 3 days/week at the client site Duration : Long Term Experience : 12+ Years Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our team to support a long-term client engagement. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on SAP SD configuration and implementation experience. E-Invoicing experience is not mandatory, but candidates with E-Invoicing expertise will be highly preferred. Responsibilities Design, configure, and deploy SAP SD solutions in line with client business requirements. Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Support pricing, billing, and logistics processes within SAP SD. Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users. Provide ongoing production support, including issue resolution and enhancements. Where applicable, advise on E-Invoicing solutions and their integration with SAP SD. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation. Strong knowledge of core SAP SD processes—pricing, billing, deliveries, and logistics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a delivery team. Must work onsite at the client location in Chicago, IL three days per week. Local candidates strongly preferred. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on E-Invoicing experience and knowledge of its integration with SAP SD. Experience with EDI and XML technologies.
