Title: Senior Institutional Mental Health Account Specialist Therapeutic Area: Neuroscience - COBENFY Locations: Boston MA; Belmont MA; Burlington MA; Salem MA; Cambridge MA Position Summary The Institutional MHAS is a critical role in our customer model to drive demand for BMS medicines within the portfolio for appropriate patients. This field‑based specialist will support the U.S. commercialization of COBENFY, the first treatment to target muscarinic receptor circuits for schizophrenia. The role engages community mental health centers, certified community behavior health centers, and hospitals to deliver a differentiated customer experience through scientific dialogue and partnership. Key Responsibilities Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner. Create demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients. Maintain and grow a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas. Prepare and implement territory and account plans to strategically promote assigned products to health‑care providers, hospital administrators, key influencers, and ancillary staff. Use available tools to derive insights, dynamically inform call plans, and provide feedback on tool usage for continuous improvement. Develop and leverage strong relationships with hospital customers, including clinical practice, pharmacy, pharmacy and therapeutics committees, and other key influencers to encourage formulary access. Demonstrate thorough understanding of access, affordability, reimbursement services, payer/formulary within hospitals. Demonstrate thorough understanding of hospital‑based treatment pathways, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary care coordination. Required Qualifications & Experience Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing. Strong communication skills to present scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians. Experience building strong credibility with key community and hospital‑based customers, office staff, case managers, and other stakeholders. Preferred experience in psychiatry and in community mental health centers, certified community behavior health centers, and hospitals. Knowledge of acute care, hospital, and health‑care systems and institutional treatment dynamics. Experience engaging with P&T committee members and knowledge of formulary and reimbursement processes. Strong account management, selling competencies, and a proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Ability to work effectively cross‑functionally with a positive team mindset. Strong selling and promotional skills proven through a track record of performance. Compensation Overview Field - United States - US: $139,230 - $168,714 Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility.
