Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in or around Stafford, NY. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:  

• Tear out and replace concrete sidewalks, driveways, patios, and foundations
• Perform site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, grading soil, and compacting sub-base materials
• Build, align, and set wood or metal concrete forms
• Shovel, rake, and guide wet concrete into forms
• Assist with concrete finishing, including smoothing surfaces, cutting expansion joints, and applying curing or waterproofing sealants
• Remove forms and complete jobsite cleanup
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Support residential and apartment concrete projects as directed

Requirements:

• Must be professional, dependable, and willing to learn
• Previous concrete or construction experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods
• Experience using hand and power tools such as shovels, trowels, screeds, saws, compactors, and jackhammers
• OSHA 10; TI may provide qualified candidates 
• Must be reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
