Multi-Unit Retail Leadership | Premium Home Furnishings

Position Overview

A leading premium retail organization is seeking a Regional Director of Sales to oversee multiple showroom locations across Florida’s Gulf Coast region. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, operational consistency, leadership development, and customer experience across the market.

The ideal candidate is a proven multi-unit retail leader with experience in consultative sales environments, team development, and high-volume retail operations.

Relocation to the Tampa Bay market is required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support Store Managers, sales teams, and design professionals across multiple retail locations
Drive regional sales performance, profitability, and operational execution
Monitor KPIs including sales growth, close rates, average ticket, customer satisfaction, and staffing productivity
Conduct regular store visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
Oversee in-home consultation and interior design sales programs
Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing leadership and sales talent
Ensure consistency in showroom standards, scheduling, staffing, and customer experience
Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Desired Qualifications

7+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience
Proven success leading high-volume retail sales teams
Strong background in sales leadership, operations, and employee development
Experience managing Store Managers and field leadership teams
Background in consultative selling environments preferred
Experience in furniture, home furnishings, premium retail, or interior design-related industries preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to travel regularly throughout the region
