Outreach is hiring a full-time Human Resources Generalist. The HR Generalist plays a key role in delivering efficient, consistent, and high-quality human resources operations that support the employee experience throughout the organization. This position serves as the operational backbone of the HR department by coordinating performance management, onboarding, HR documentation, compliance support, process improvement, and HR projects. Working closely with the Senior Human Resources Officer (SHRO) and HR team, this position ensures HR programs, records, policies, and processes are organized, compliant, and aligned with Outreach's mission and values. Mission-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth Responsibilities Coordinate the organization's annual performance management process, including timelines, documentation, reporting, supervisor support, and employee communications. Plan, facilitate, and continuously improve the monthly New Employee Orientation program while supporting onboarding and 30-, 60-, and 90-day employee check-ins. Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, document retention practices, policy acknowledgments, and the HR document library to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Support the development, revision, formatting, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, supervisor guides, SOPs, and employee handbook updates. Lead and coordinate HR operational projects from planning through implementation, including process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and employee service. Partner with HRIS and Payroll staff to ensure HR processes integrate effectively within Paycom and other HR systems. Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and metrics related to performance management, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness. Analyze HR data, employee feedback, and operational trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend practical solutions. Support compliance initiatives by monitoring required documentation, conducting routine file audits, maintaining audit readiness, and assisting with regulatory reporting and agency reviews. Create and deliver professional HR communications, training materials, presentations, and resources for employees and supervisors. Collaborate closely with HR team members to provide responsive customer service, resolve operational issues, and support organizational initiatives and special projects. Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, confidentiality, and a commitment to Outreach's mission, values, and culture in all aspects of the role. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of progressive human resources, program coordination, operations, records management or related experience preferred. Experience supporting performance management, employee orientation, HR documentation, records audits or process-improvement projects strongly preferred. Working knowledge of employment practices, confidentiality requirements and HR compliance principles. Experience with Paycom or another HRIS preferred; this role partners with the HRIS Administrator but is not the primary Paycom owner. Strong project-management, organizational, writing, facilitation and communication skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to create polished documents, presentations and reports. High attention to detail, sound judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
