Job Title: Principal, Contracts Job Code: 42438 Job Location: Tempe, AZ or Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days– totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: The Integrated Vision Solutions Sector is seeking a Contracts professional looking to expand and grow strategic footprint within the organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of high-level independent work, providing expert guidance across the full contract lifecycle for DoD, Commercial, CAS-covered, and International Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts. Essential Functions: Plan, conduct and direct projects or major phases of significant project assignment, coordinating the efforts of internal stakeholders in the performance of assigned activities. Administer moderate to large contracts of great complexity. Independently negotiates with the customer contract terminology, pricing, technical requirements, scope and terms. Recommend contract changes, including major revisions and coordinates the preparation and final negotiation of change orders, supplemental agreements, price re-determination, etc. affecting the life of the contract. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements to protect the company. Monitors internal progress of contracts with various business units to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements. Monitors and reviews for completeness, accuracy and conformance with Federal and Defense procurement regulations and company procedural requirements. Prepares all necessary internal reports for management and periodic reports to customer contracting officers/buyers as required. Assists in developing policies, procedures and practices relating to contract administration. Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience in Contracts. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience Working experience with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 acquisitions Preferred Additional Skills: Active Security Clearance. Demonstrated experience in Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting Understanding of cost and price estimating concepts and Intellectual Property principles. Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead within a cross-functional team environment.
