What is a Customer Service Representative II?

The Customer Service Representative II is responsible for managing customer interactions, order processing, and issue resolution with a higher level of independence and complexity. This role supports customer accounts, coordinates closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations, and ensures accurate and timely execution of orders. The position plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to overall service performance.

What You Can Expect to Do as a Customer Service Representative II:

• Process and manage customer orders with a high level of accuracy and ownership.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, products, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates or potential issues.
• Resolve order discrepancies, billing concerns, and service issues independently when possible.
• Maintain accurate customer and order data within ERP and CRM systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
• Support onboarding and training of Customer Service Representative I team members as needed.

What We Are Looking For in a Customer Service Representative II:

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of customer service processes and order-to-cash workflows.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.
