Practice Overview: \n
\n•    Position is based at our Gainesville campus as a part of a well-established group of general and sub-specialized surgeons.\n
\n•    Desire to provide full range colorectal surgery practice to include colonoscopy, acute care and general surgery services with a focus in elective.\n
\n•    NGHS is in the third year of its General Surgery residency program with 6 residents per Program Year.\n
\n•    DaVinci 5 and Xi Robot available\n
\n•    EPIC EMR Platform\n
\n•    Two GI groups within practice region\n
\n•    24/7 Hospitalist coverage\n
\n•    Clinic 2-3 days per week \n
\n
Working together with Physicians like you: \n
\n•    General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program\n
\n•    Colorectal Surgery fellowship completion required from an accredited program\n
\n•    Colon and Rectal Surgery certification by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and/or certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology\n
\n•    M.D. or D.O.\n
\n•    Meets requirements for medical license to practice in Georgia\n
\n•    A high level of interpersonal skills to allow effective communications with a wide variety of hospital personnel, physicians, and the general public.\n
\n•    Board-certified candidates required with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience\n
\n•    Strong preference that experience includes work in graduate medical education\n
\n•    Fits well in a team-oriented care delivery model\n
\n•    Advanced laparoscopic and Robotic skill sets \n
\n
