Hospice Practice Overview:

\n
• Dedicated hospice team serving patients for 40 years.
\n
• Inpatient Hospice Unit at main campus- 7 bed unit
\n
• Free standing 16 bed hospice currently under construction just minutes from main campus
\n
• Physicians support nursing and interdisciplinary staff by providing oversight for hospice and in-home palliative care
\n
• Desirable schedule Monday through Friday schedule
\n
• Service Line supported by dedicated:\n

  • Advanced Practitioners
  \n
  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers
  \n
  • Chaplains
  \n
  • Designated nurse staffing

• Growing program with opportunity to work with residents and fellows
\n

\n
• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (HPM)
\n
• Active Georgia license or ability to obtain unrestricted license
\n
• Experience providing care across settings including inpatient consults, hospice inpatient units, home hospice, and outpatient palliative care
\n
• Passion for quality and patient care
\n
• Strong communication skills and comfort with goals‑of‑care discussions, symptom management, and end‑of‑life care planning
\n
• Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives
\n
• Physicians holding legacy or time‑limited HPM certification remain fully acceptable, provided certification is maintained per governing board requirements
