Phlebotomist Specialist-Patient service Center

Work Schedule Part Time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00am–12:00pm; Tuesday and Thursday 1:00pm–6:00pm; rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic tests. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the electronic system. Process billing information and collect payments as needed. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. Three or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. At least one year of pediatric phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of phlebotomy experience. Three or more years of pediatric experience. One or more years of drug screening experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working with minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
