• Conduct a range of routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Examine lab results for accuracy, actively troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for laboratory analysis when required.
• Document all laboratory processes meticulously, aid in training new personnel or students, and contribute to upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a sanitized and compliant workspace, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Must acquire ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Continuity of current certification throughout your tenure is essential.
