Civil Engineer

At least 5 years of Civil engineering experience. Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field. Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License (PE) within a year. Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain clear and concise project records. Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience is desirable. Iowa PE license or EIT certification, or the ability to obtain either within 6 months. Responsibilities Prepare technical engineering reports and project plans. Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians throughout construction phases. Assist Project Managers in keeping projects on schedule and within budget. Lead or participate in project teams for planning, design, and construction. Engage in client contact, including attending meetings. Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
