Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Pay: $18–$19 per hour

Location: Pryor, OK

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to process invoices, manage vendor payments, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced accounting environment while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities:
• Process invoices for payment by receiving, verifying, and reconciling documentation
• Review and match invoices, purchase orders, and payment records for accuracy
• Enter and code expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
• Prepare and schedule vendor payments, including checks and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
• Maintain accurate accounting ledgers and financial records
• Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely credit or payment adjustments
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment questions
• Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting, or clerical role preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry systems
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
