Change Management Lead – Skills Transformation (Contract / Contract-to-Hire)
Hybrid – St. Petersburg, FL (3+ days onsite weekly)
Long-term engagement (12+ months potential)
We are partnering with a global organization to identify a Change Management Lead to drive adoption for a high-visibility Transformation. This is a critical, enterprise-wide initiative focused on reshaping how the organization defines, develops, and deploys workforce capabilities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and knows how to turn strategy into real adoption, behavior change, and business impact.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the end-to-end change management strategy for a large-scale skills transformation initiative
- Drive stakeholder alignment, executive sponsorship, and organizational readiness
- Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses across multiple business units
- Build and execute communications, engagement, and adoption plans tailored to leaders, HR, and employees
- Equip leaders and managers with tools, messaging, and guidance to effectively lead change
- Identify risks, resistance points, and adoption barriers—and proactively mitigate them
- Establish feedback loops and monitor adoption metrics to continuously refine the approach
- Partner closely with HR, Organizational Effectiveness, project leadership, and Instructional Design to ensure a cohesive rollout
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience leading change management for enterprise transformation initiatives
- Proven success driving adoption across complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement, communications strategy, and readiness planning
- Experience influencing senior leaders and working across all levels of an organization
- Ability to translate complex initiatives into clear, actionable change plans
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills
- Strong project management and execution capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to HR transformation, skills-based organizations, or workforce/talent initiatives
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar methodologies
- Experience in global, fast-paced, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to connect change efforts to business outcomes and long-term sustainment
