Travel Ultrasound Technologist

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. For all techs except OR tech: the expected start date is based on Novant's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week, and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.

General, abdomen, OB/GYN, high risk obstetrics, renal/pelvis, small parts, vascular-carotid, vascular-arterial, Doppler studies, peripheral vascular, renal artery duplex, upper/lower extremity venous, upper/lower extremity arterial, M-mode, renal artery duplex, pediatric intussusception and appendix experience required. Neonate/NICU experience is also required Certs: BLS Preferred skills / certs / exp: Skills: paracentesis, thoracentesis Certs: RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RVT

Special procedures / unit details: 139 bed community hospital with a full service ultrasound department. The US department is comprised of two procedure rooms and performs approximately 40 procedures a day. Transport is offered 24/7.
