Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local leader in their search to fill a CNC Swiss Machinist in Bloomington, MN. As a CNC Swiss Machinist , you will operating a computer numerical controlled lathe with minimal supervision. The position runs production lots, keeps records, communicates with co-workers and managers regarding production runs, and maintaining standards. What's an average day like as a CNC Swiss Machinist:

• Setup, load parts and cycle computer numerical control equipment per daily schedule on a lathe
• Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results)
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions/setup documents and standard operating procedures
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

What do we look for in a CNC Swiss Machinist:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• One year related experience, training and/or technical education
• Proficiency with CNC controls
• Experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss lathes

Schedule:

• 1st shift 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday
