Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of Citizen Swiss CNC lathes.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Citizen Swiss CNC lathes for production runs.Load programs and set tool offsets, ensuring first-piece quality and maintaining tight tolerances.Read and edit G-code/M-code, optimizing Citizen programs for efficiency and accuracy.Select and install tooling, perform tool changes, and manage wear compensation.Work with metals and plastics commonly used in precision machining.Interpret blueprints and GD&T conduct in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.Maintain accurate measurement records and apply SPC methods.Diagnose and resolve Citizen machine and tooling issues.Perform routine preventive maintenance on Citizen Swiss CNC machines.Essential Skills2+ years of experience operating Citizen Swiss CNC lathes.Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.Experience maintaining tight tolerances (±0.0002").Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with multi-axis Citizen machines, live tooling, and sub-spindles.Knowledge of CAM software like Mastercam and Esprit.Experience in medical or aerospace manufacturing.Why Work Here?Experience the dynamic and innovative environment of a precision manufacturing company that serves high-performance industries. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
