Los Angeles, CA: $250,000 to $325,000 In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate of the annual salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting. Job Requirements: Our Health Care Practice Group is seeking to hire a motivated mid-level associate in our Los Angeles, CA office. This is an excellent opportunity to join Nixon Peabody’s national health care practice, which has received numerous national and regional rankings, including by Chambers USA, Legal 500, and U.S. News/Best Law Firms. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of health care experience working on mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions, an interest in focusing on health care companies and organizations, and a broad knowledge of general corporate law to work on matters in the areas of private equity, joint venture and M&A transactions. Experience with healthcare and/or life sciences transactions a plus but not required. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
