Scrub Tech - Concord, North Carolina

Advance your surgical technology skills in a vibrant perioperative environment where expertise and teamwork are paramount. This contract role calls for a Certified Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Tech with at least 2 years of recent OR experience. You'll become a valued member of a department that handles a diverse surgical caseload in a well-equipped facility featuring 13 ORs and robust support staff for optimal workflow.


Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours/week (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Rotating call required: 3-4 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekend duty is primarily for call coverage
• Participation in the holiday call rotation is expected

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program required
• Certified Surgical Tech (national certification preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years' OR experience (Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, Plastics experience preferred)
• Will consider qualified first-time travelers

• Scrub for a wide range of surgeries including orthopedic, general, cardiovascular, neuro/spine, colorectal, urology, GYN, plastics, and robotic procedures
• Maintain sterile field and perform instrument counts
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff
• Support safe and efficient patient care, equipment prep, and room turnover
• Respond promptly to on-call needs within a 30-minute response window

• Non-teaching hospital; no trauma designation
• Advanced EMR (EPIC), Omnicell med dispensing
