Bilingual Legal Receptionist

Location: Newark, NJ / Totowa, NJ (Hybrid – 2 Days In Office) Position Type: Part‑Time/Full‑Time Cardenas Immigration Law Position Overview Cardenas Immigration Law is seeking a highly organized and professional Bilingual Receptionist / Client Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for the firm. This role is responsible for managing high-volume inbound communication, including phone calls, client inquiries, scheduling, and inbox coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and professionalism are critical. This position requires fluency in both Spanish and English and the ability to manage a large volume of client interactions daily while coordinating closely with the legal team. Key Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls (up to 200 calls per day) Return client calls in a timely and professional manner Respond to general client inquiries via phone and email Schedule consultations, meetings, and internal appointments Manage and organize shared inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups Route calls and messages to appropriate team members Maintain accurate records of client communications and inquiries Coordinate with team members to ensure call coverage throughout the day Support general administrative tasks as needed Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or client-facing role Fluency in Spanish and English (required) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written High attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional and calm demeanor under pressure Reliable and punctual Work Environment High-volume, fast-paced legal office Requires responsiveness and strong time management Team-oriented environment with shared responsibilities Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in-office (Totowa, NJ) Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Part‑time / Full‑time position Additional Notes This role is critical to the daily operations of the firm.
