Position Summary We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Plaza del Sol Family Health Center in Corona, Queens . As an RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing support and patient care in our family medicine practice for primary care and OB/GYN services. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Nursing is required. NYS Registered Professional Nurse, required. All experience levels are welcome to apply, whether this is your first role as a nurse, or you are coming in as a seasoned nurse. Bilingual English and Spanish full fluency is required. Excellent communication skills, compassion, empathy, and team-driven attributes are essential. Knowledge/training in electronic health records and Microsoft Office. Key Duties Triage patients and assist patients with their needs based on acuity. Provide quality nursing care and medication administration. Administer immunizations/vaccines to specified patients. Monitor patient reactions and side-effects. Assist care team with pre-visit planning for high-risk patients. Ensure implementation of plans of care. Serve as a role-model and source of nursing guidance to medical assistants and phlebotomists on the team. Assist with prepping patients as needed and providing patient education. Assist providers during examinations and treatments. Ensure proper sterilization procedures using germicides, sterilizers, or autoclave. Ensure departmental adherence to clinical policies and procedures. Maintain health records by documenting patient contact and updating patient profile. Implement standing orders. Check equipment, logs, and medical kits. Assist with ordering medical supplies, medications, and vaccines. Starting Compensation Minimum: $82,560; Maximum: $98,560 per year, contingent on degree and experience level. Work Environment, Location, and Schedule Onsite, Corona, Queens, NY. Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm / 7:00am-4:00pm / 8:30am-5:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts.
