Job Location & Schedule Location: Mount Holly – 175 Madison Avenue. On‑site, full‑time, regular employee. Three 12‑hour rotating nights per week (7:00pm–7:00am), including every 3rd weekend and every other holiday. Total weekly hours: 36. Position Overview Performs clerical and secretarial duties on the nursing unit. Prepares, compiles, and maintains patient and operational records. Responsibilities Process and maintain clerical information on the unit. Respond to, screen, and refer telephone messages and requests regarding patient information and unit operations to appropriate personnel. Assist with coordination of patient flow, unit rounding, and visitor security. Maintain the patient’s electronic medical record, ensuring completeness and accuracy of charts and records. Communicate consults by contacting providers and facilitate admission, discharge, and transfer status. Assist with coordination of patient transportation to external facilities or discharge to home. Maintain supplies and equipment, place orders for services, and coordinate with Environmental Support Services as required. Qualifications Basic computer skills (word processing, data entry) and ability to quickly learn and become proficient using unit computer systems. Understanding or familiarity with medical terminology, or ability to quickly learn to process and maintain accurate medical records. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills for clear, effective, tactful, and courteous communication with customers and staff at all levels. Ability to multi‑task effectively. 1–2 years secretarial or administrative assistant experience in a medical setting preferred. High school graduate or equivalent; additional coursework in the medical support field preferred. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $18.69 – $26.01 (actual rate will vary based on experience, internal equity, and market data).
