Data Entry - Registered Pharmacy Technician Coordinator

Job Details This position is remote and full time. Responsibilities Convey professional communication with physician offices at all times, both orally and written. Understand the requirements for inbound image documents, including how the documents should be organized and attached in pharmacy management systems. Execute required steps based upon inbound document type and program requirements for creating patient profiles and/or new referrals. Maintain answering of the main pharmacy line and transfer inbound callers to the correct extension based upon reported drug/program. Perform other duties as assigned. Communicate and document clarification requests and follow‑ups, including documenting progress in Pathpoint Rx/ScriptMed. Answer and resolve internal inquiries within committed timeframes. Make outbound calls to physician offices to request prescription refills and to request updates on pending prescription clarification requests. Receive written prescription clarifications or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate. Comply with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations. Understand the physical, psychological, and social challenges of specific disease states and assist the patient and Pharmacy Care Coordinators with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues. Experience and Educational Requirements Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four‑year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires three (3) years of experience in a health‑care related call‑center environment, pharmacy physician’s office, or social service environment. Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements Strong oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access. Strong time‑management, organization skills, initiative, professional demeanor, and positive attitude. Attention to detail, quick study, self‑motivation, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative. Active Pharmacy Technician registration according to the state board of pharmacy.
