Pharmacy Technician - Jersey City, NJ

This position offers an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to contribute to a high-volume, fast-growing closed-door pharmacy environment in Sayreville, New Jersey. The role involves helping patients access specialized therapies, managing a substantial number of inbound and outbound calls, and supporting prescription processing activities with precision.


Location: Sayreville, New Jersey

Schedule: Variable days and mid shifts, including two closing shifts per week

Hours: Operating between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM

Type: Contract to Hire (8-13 weeks)

Script Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day

Pharmacy Software: Prime Rx


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of patient and healthcare provider calls efficiently and professionally
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records
• Identify and report any adverse events following company protocols
• Assist pharmacy team members with various operational tasks

Qualifications:

• Current and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience, ideally in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting (retail experience acceptable)
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Stable employment history with no recent frequent changes between pharmacies
