Occupational Therapist

TactStaff is hiring School-Based Occupational Therapists (OTs) for partnering school districts throughout Washington State for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. These are full-time, onsite opportunities supporting K-12 student populations across a variety of educational settings.

We are seeking collaborative and student-centered therapists passionate about helping students improve functional independence, sensory regulation, fine motor development, and classroom participation within the school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and service plans
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments related to fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and functional performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation, progress reports, and service logs
• Support students with sensory regulation, handwriting, self-help skills, classroom participation, and functional independence

Requirements

• Active Washington Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite full-time during the school year
