Salary: $100,526 - 128,315 per year Requirements:

• We require two years of responsible experience comparable to Software Analyst II with our City.
• Depending on assignment, we may require focused experience in general software analysis, GIS analysis, or web analysis.
• We require an equivalent of a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business information systems, computer science, geographic information systems, or a related discipline.
• We require the ability to obtain, or possession of, a valid California drivers license.
• We require candidates to pass a P.O.S.T.-level background investigation before appointment for clearance to work on Police Department information systems.

• We lead expert-level project management work from initiation through completion.
• We analyze business processes and identify practical improvements.
• We coordinate and oversee the work assigned to staff, ensuring duties are properly allocated and completed.
• We provide administrative support to the assigned manager.
• We perform specialized analytical duties that require advanced technical knowledge.
