Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Venteon We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Tax Supervisor to lead our corporate tax function within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing federal, state, and local tax compliance, tax planning, audits, and ensuring the company meets all tax-related obligations. Salary plus 15% bonus. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns. Oversee sales and use tax compliance across multiple states. Supervise quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740). Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants. Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to minimize liabilities. Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IRS regulations, and manufacturing industry standards. Manage tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities. Maintain documentation for transfer pricing, R&D credits, and fixed asset depreciation. Stay updated on changes in tax laws affecting the manufacturing sector. Support special projects and M&A activities from a tax perspective. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master’s in Taxation a plus). 2+ years of tax experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of corporate tax regulations, multi-state taxation, and sales/use tax. Experience with tax software such as Corptax, ONESOURCE, or Vertex. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
