Role Objectives

The Web & Digital Operations Specialist will serve as a key technical contributor within With Honor’s digital and communications efforts, helping build, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure that supports our websites, audience engagement, analytics, and digital campaigns. The role will help drive:

• Fast, secure, accessible, and up-to-date web properties that effectively communicate With Honor’s mission and organizational priorities
• Accurate, reliable tracking across the website, email, and paid and organic social channels
• Clearer insight into how supporters find, engage with, and take action through With Honor’s digital channels
• Higher conversion rates for supporter engagement, such as newsletter sign-ups and petitions
• Organized audience data across email and CRM platforms
• Improved digital performance through analytics, testing, and optimization

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the websites in With Honor’s domain, including the With Honor Action website, With Honor Institute website, and the Courage Can Save US website, including pages, posts, landing pages, forms, and plugins, in coordination with communications staff. 
• Install, configure, and test tracking pixels and tags (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, X Pixel, Google Ads) using Google Tag Manager
• Maintain Google Analytics 4 (GA4) events and conversions to measure supportive actions across the sites
• Build and manage a consistent UTM tagging system for email, social, and campaign links
• Monitor site performance, security, and page speed, working with the hosting provider and external developers to resolve issues
• Support SEO best practices, including metadata, site structure, redirects, and broken link cleanup
• Support email marketing operations in Mailchimp, including list management, segmentation, sign-up form integrations, and audience syncing.
• Troubleshoot integrations between the website, email, CRM, and social platforms
• Coordinate with external vendors and web developers on site builds, updates, and technical fixes

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience managing or updating websites, ideally in WordPress, in a nonprofit, political, public affairs, or advocacy context
• Hands-on experience managing and maintaining websites, ideally in WordPress, including pages, forms, plugins, integrations, and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently, identify when outside expertise is required, and communicate effectively with developers, vendors, and non-technical colleagues
• Familiarity with SEO, site performance, and web accessibility best practices
• Experience with email marketing platforms and audience data management is preferred
• Experience on a political campaign or on Capitol Hill is preferred
• Coursework or experience in web development, information systems, digital marketing, or data analytics is preferred

Terms

• 3 month starting agreement with opportunity to renew
• 40 hours per week, in-office - Washington, D.C.
• $35-$40 hourly rate of pay
