What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or reporting issues through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at designated access points, following post instructions and verifying credentials or documentation as directed.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, observing operational activity, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns that could affect the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
