Branch Manager

Job Purpose The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the branch, including leading team members, managing the branch P&L, driving new loan growth, managing the current loan portfolio, marketing, maintaining existing business partnerships, and developing new strategic business partners. The Branch Manager will perform in accordance with RMC’s Mission, Vision, and Shared Values. Duties and Responsibilities Manages and inspires team members to perform to their full potential, driving branch profitability. Exercises independent judgment in decisions affecting employees and branch operations within company policy and District Supervisor oversight. Serves as subject‑matter expert on personal loan products, presenting loan solutions to customers. Maintains branch operations solvency through asset control, proper credit extension, and follow‑up counseling of past‑due customers. Builds customer relationships by delivering exceptional service. Assigns duties to employees, reviews work for accuracy and efficiency, and trains employees as needed. Trains and develops employees on branch operations, company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Works with Recruiting and District Supervisors to address staffing needs. Cultivates relationships with local retail businesses and partners with Account Managers to maintain strong partnerships and handle complaints. Oversees tasks such as approving and closing loans, resolving past‑due accounts, delegating collection activities, processing insurance claims, accepting and posting payments, reviewing loan documentation, answering telephone calls, completing month‑end reporting, approving branch expenses, signing checks, managing supply requisitions, and balancing cash drawers. Performs additional duties as assigned by leadership. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 2 years of management experience or completion of a required Management Trainee program Valid Driver’s License and dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage Successful completion of drug screen, criminal record, and credit background checks Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of consumer finance experience College degree is an advantage Willingness to relocate for career advancement Critical Competencies Passion for customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to relate to a broad spectrum of people, including external customers, branch colleagues, and corporate coworkers Thrives in a pay‑for‑performance environment Strong multi‑tasking and problem‑solving skills High degree of integrity and confidence Sales mentality and adaptability to change Desire for career advancement Emotional intelligence and conflict management skills Empowers others Working Conditions This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone and may require occasional driving in a personal vehicle. The Branch Manager typically works more than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and overtime as required. This position is considered exempt for purposes of federal wage‑hour law and is not eligible for overtime pay.
