0700-1900 Day Shift, three 12-hour shifts per week

Job Description

This position is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves collaboration with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision and mission while utilizing knowledge of patients' age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care, including administering treatments and medications.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and formulate a plan of care.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and significant others.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current California RN license.
• Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
• Ability to read telemetry.
