About The Role Yuno is looking for a Staff Engineer to be the senior technical leader for Money, Risk & Payment Ancillaries — the business unit that protects money and manages risk across every transaction on the platform.

Spanning risk, fraud, scams, money operations, reconciliations, and chargebacks, this is the domain where financial correctness, real-time decisioning, and trust are non-negotiable. You'll architect the foundational systems behind these capabilities and raise the technical bar for the teams that build them. This is a hands-on leadership role in a zero-tolerance-for-failure environment — every cent must be accounted for, and every risk decision must be fast, accurate, and auditable. You'll design and build bank-grade, resilient systems, champion a "You Build It, You Run It" culture, and turn the hardest problems in money movement and risk into elegant, maintainable architecture.
