U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: TS/SCI Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1 Collins Aerospace seeks a system administrator, software engineer, or information technology specialist to perform Air Force Distributive Common Ground System (AF DCGS) / Data and Dissemination Systems Support – Centralized (DSMC) sustainment functions across GEOINT‑focused software and systems. This requisition is open to candidates willing to work with a well‑established and evolving team at the 480th ISRW Langley AFB, Virginia. DSMC duties include, but are not limited to, providing technical and engineering support for new and existing data and dissemination systems on Linux and Windows operating systems. Candidates should have a strong understanding of GEOINT operational workflows and the technical expertise to maintain DSMC systems and software that interface with multiple sensors, sites, and network enclaves. New members of the Collins team will initially train with more experienced engineers but will eventually be expected to work with limited supervision. Candidates should be self‑motivated, organized, possess excellent written and verbal skills, and have the ability to work independently. Candidates will be expected to support and respond to customer needs with accuracy and efficiency.
