Sales Engineer

Coverage territory:United States (dependent on candidate location) Will report to:Managing Director Trilogiq USA is a growth-oriented, customer-focused firmin the material-handling industryseekingadditional Sales Engineers to support our success. The Sales Engineer’s primary goal will be to diagnose and help to solve their customer’s challenges with material handling, and to sell them customizable solutions using the Trilogiq modular assembly system. Qualifications Qualifications include demonstrated competency of successes and experience in the areas of packaging, material handling, and/or industrial sales. This experience needs to include references supporting the candidate’s ability to interface successfully with personnel across a wide range of levels at our target customers, from engineers to top management. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time. Six Sigma and/or Lean experience and qualifications are preferred but not necessary. Performance measurement will align along the following targets and categories: Performance Target 1 – Sales Objectives We're looking for a candidate who is independent and can drive sales to meet their individual sales target which will be the primary performance objective.This will be a mixture of repeat business and new sales. Final budget to be in line with final territory based upon the candidate’s location. Performance Target 2 – Account Development Representatives are expected to work with our internal support team and perform their own investigative work to identify, obtain meetings with, and convert new customers, targeting to: Identify and convert new accounts Successfully maintain and expand existing customer base on new, integrated solutions in the amount of 20-25% of annual sales Maintain sales data and develop monthly reporting Performance Target 3 – Sales Activity You'll work with customer contacts at all levels: from the plant floor to the boardroom. This activity will be organized around the following targets: Responsible to maintain appropriate customer engagements (i.e. meetings) to support sales quota. Submit proposal requests with minimum value of 2 times monthly sales quota. Performance Target 4 – Sales Administration While Trilogiq is team-oriented, representatives are expected to operate on an individual basis and administer their own territory which includes: Update and maintain sales forecasts and full CRM contact records on a daily basis Interface successfully with all internal customer departments (customer service, engineering, etc).
