This travel opportunity supports a temporary assignment for an experienced RN in the interventional radiology/cardiology workflow, with a focus on outpatient procedures and procedural support. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,062-$2,137 per week Contract duration: 23 weeks Shift: 5x8; weekdays, no nights required Start date: 09/08/2026 Travel assignment for a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting No guaranteed hours Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an outpatient cardiology/interventional setting, including pre-procedure, peri-procedure, and post-procedure oversight Conduct initial patient interviews and preliminary assessment of test data Prepare studies for physician interpretation and assist with imaging-guided and interventional procedures as assigned Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; recognize and respond to evolving clinical emergencies per policy Perform and supervise moderate sedation as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort Identify and interpret arrhythmias; facilitate treadmill, stress testing, and nuclear stress testing as part of the diagnostic workflow Collaborate closely with physicians, cardiology/nursing leadership, and the patient’s family to provide education and ensure timely, accurate results Requirements Active New York RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS (through AHA or RQI) Education: RN graduate; BSN preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years of patient care with recent arrhythmia recognition/cardiology experience Procedural competencies: Moderate sedation competency; familiarity with treadmill stress testing and nuclear stress testing preferred Ability to work in outpatient cardiology/interventional workflow and adapt to evolving procedures Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Credentialing and onboarding assistance Ongoing assignment support and guidance during the contract Access to licensing and credentialing resources to facilitate the role Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
