My client is expanding and seeks a Director of Lab Operations to take on the following tasks:

Direct the managers and their teams to ensure work is completed in-line with expectations.

Integrate lab operations with all departments including IT, business development, and project leadership to produce smoother workflows and processes.

Establish metrics and standards to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm.

Implement policies and procedures that will improve daily operations.

Manage procurement processes and coordinates material and resources allocation.

Plan, monitor, and forecast budgets to achieve financial objectives.

Improves client experience and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.

Maintain current accreditations and certifications (i.e. CLIA, AAALAC, IACUC).

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

BS degree and 10+ years relevant lab operations experience.

In-depth knowledge of industry rules and guidelines.

Exceptional managerial and organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Title and salary are commensurate with experience.
