Software & Systems Engineer

Salary: $135,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree in Computer Science, or very strong evidence of accomplishment.
• We want publicly available code samples of your work, such as on GitHub.
• We are seeking demonstrated interest in electronics and mechanical systems.
• We need proficiency in C programming within a Linux environment.
• We expect understanding of computer networking fundamentals and operating systems.
• We value experience with scripting tools such as Bash or shell scripting for automation tasks.

• We build H300-based servers for LLM inference.
• We design and write C code to operate sensors and mechanical systems.
• We design and write C code to interface with electronic systems.
• We oversee IT infrastructure, including a small LAN/WAN.
• We collaborate with electronics engineers and mechanical engineers.
• We program production processes for 3D printing.
• We maintain documentation covering system architecture and design specifications.

We are a small team working on a range of practical projects with hardware elements, including AI, video, sound, sensors, and mechatronics. Our development focus is on operational systems and physical interfaces, with a strong emphasis on low-level, structured programming. We usually develop in C99 on Arch Linux, while using other languages when appropriate. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Portsmouth, NH, and we offer paid training and professional development assistance.
