SALARY


This position has a base salary range of $72,000 - $108,000 USD Annual. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.


Summary

Responsible for decisioning consumer loan and credit applications accurately and efficiently. Provides prompt, in-depth, and collaborative service for internal customers.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Apply risk analysis skills to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requests while producing accurate loan decisions.
2. Communicate decisions, collaborate on restructures, and answer questions for frontline reps and internal customers.
3. Identify refinance opportunities on all applications.
4. Assist Underwriting or Risk Manager with special projects pertaining to loan process improvement.
5. Assist with loan desk coverage so there are no delays.
6. Assist with loan system testing as needed.
7. Maintain key metrics (approval percentages, fast delinquency percentage, turn times, etc.) favorable to

team's benchmark.

1. Identify and communicate risk trends and process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
   • Minimum 2 years loan underwriting experience preferred (general consumer loan experience also considered)
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
   • Excellent oral and written communication skills
   • Ability to work in a team environment with a proactive approach to problems
   • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requests while producing accurate decisions
   • Saturday and evening hours are required
