⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Med-Surg RNs for its 4 Medical unit, a 25-bed unit with a diverse patient population.

The primary patient population includes stroke patients, as well as comfort care/hospice patients and a variety of post-operative and medically complex patients.

Patient Population & Clinical Experience

Experience with the following is highly relevant:
Stroke patients
Comfort care / hospice
Post-operative patients
Amputations
Drains and chest tubes
Feeding tubes
Heparin drips
Wound care
Altered mental status
CIWA patients
AKI
Dialysis
COPD exacerbations

NIHSS is required.

Unit Details
25-bed medical unit
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 on days
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5–6:1 on nights
Nurses may occasionally care for one total-care patient
Night shift assignment
Three 12-hour shifts
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 3 years of experience in medsurg
NIHSS required
Stroke-certified RNs preferred
Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts
Must be available for every-other-weekend and holiday rotation as required

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #299117. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
