Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager role based at the Kate Spade Outlet in St Augustine, FL. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the sales floor, driving daily store performance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include coaching and motivating the team, assisting with scheduling and shift coverage, and overseeing opening and closing procedures. The role manages visual merchandising standards, ensures stock is well-organized and replenished, and maintains a clean, inviting store environment. The Assistant Manager also helps monitor key performance indicators, supports loss prevention and compliance processes, and communicates store updates and brand initiatives to the team. Qualifications Experience in retail or hospitality with a focus on guest service, sales support, and daily store operations. Leadership capabilities, including team coaching, performance feedback, and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling, task prioritization, and store opening/closing routines. Ability to maintain brand and visual merchandising standards, including product presentation and floor set execution. Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and adherence to loss prevention and safety procedures. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
