Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

DRIV Inc. is seeking a motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Smyrna, TN. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting equipment, and have 1-2 years of maintenance experience , we'd love to hear from you.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment, material handling equipment, and building systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of facility equipment, machinery, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and facility-related issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules.
• Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure proper operation.
• Assist with coordinating and monitoring work performed by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely and complies with company safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to prevent equipment failures and support operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical or Trade School certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of maintenance, mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, or facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work alternative shifts as business needs require.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying environmental conditions.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet when required.
