Pay & Benefits

• Salary: $300,000 to $360,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions via physical exams and diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT scans)
• Develop treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options
• Perform surgical procedures such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care to ensure safety and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a dedicated orthopedic service
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
• Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgical techniques and applications
• Engage in continuing education, professional development, and conference participation
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members regarding diagnoses and treatment options

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active CPR certification
• Valid medical license to practice in Vermont or eligible for licensure in Vermont
• Proven proficiency in orthopedic surgical techniques

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a hospital setting
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
