What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions using clinical assessments and diagnostic imaging
• Develop individualized treatment and surgical plans for patients
• Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure safety and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management
• Participate in rotating on-call duties to cover orthopedic emergencies
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of surgical outcomes
• Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Engage in ongoing professional development, training, and conferences

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain one
• Proven experience in orthopedic surgery, with proficiency in surgical techniques and procedures
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous learning
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
