Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer of Metal in Huntley, IL, area, is seeking an Assembler to join their team! This climate-controlled facility offers a wide range of perks, such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

General Warehouse Associate

• $18.50-$19.00
• 7 am to 3:30 om Monday to Friday
• Overtime and extended hours as required based on business needs

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reads work orders and follows the work requirements and assembly instructions according to customer
specifications and schedule;
• Visually inspects each part. Removes and sets aside all non-conforming products as per inspection control plan;
• Reports all non-conforming parts and spare part shortage to the Assembly supervisor;
• Loads individual parts per job specifications into their designated storage areas;
• Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to become familiar with all the company's specifications and inspection standards;
• Ability to read simple drawings and to measure in Microns;
• Meticulous attention to detail;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Good manual dexterity and agility;
• General math skills;
• Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout the day;
• Must be able to carry and/or lift to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Required Education & Education:
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment:
• Inspection measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers), power tools, computer.
Environmental Demands:
• Exposure to oils, fumes, grease and constant moderate noise.
