About This Position Business Advisor (Real Estate and/or Securities Licenses ARE NOT required) Company Name: Transworld Business Advisors of Canton Company Location: Canton, Ohio Commissions: $10,000-$30,000+ per transaction Highly prefer current Real Estate Agents, Lenders, or Insurance/Finance professionals looking for a career change Role Description Your primary duties as a Business Broker are fourfold based upon our service offerings: Business Brokerage: Build relationships with small business owners and help them prepare their business to be confidentially listed. Once the business is listed you will be the transaction manager for the buyer screening, offer, due diligence, and closing processes. Business Valuation: Help business owners review prior financials, cash flows, market conditions, record keeping, and other elements to provide a Broker's Opinion of Value (BOV). Franchise Consulting: Help prospective franchise buyers find and purchase the right franchise based upon their wants, skill sets, financial ability and earning expectations. Franchise Development: Help outstanding local businesses grow their business through becoming a franchisor. Your secondary duties will be to build your network, market for new small business listings, and participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions. We have a team-based approach to the business and we will work together on many transactions. While you will operate as an entrepreneur, the firm will provide a multitude of support functions to help drive your sales success, including marketing and lead generating activities, administrative support, initial training, continued career development, technology platforms, and team based selling and client support. Qualifications Experience with Business Ownership, Business Brokerage, Insurance Strategies, Finance, or Sales preferred. Strong analytical and financial skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Networking and negotiation skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Main Street businesses.
