Employee Benefits Counselor

Overview Accretive Enrollment Services, now a part of Gallager, offers comprehensive enrollment services and voluntary benefits tailored to meet the diverse needs of your client's workforce, enhancing financial stability and productivity. As part of Gallagher, a global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting, you’ll be joining a team that’s passionate about helping individuals and organizations thrive. The Employee Benefits Counselor provides personalized enrollment assistance to employees through the benefits enrollment call center or in a face-to-face environment. This role is responsible for explaining the benefits that are available to the employees and assisting them with the enrollment process. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a subject matter expert with employee benefits and the enrollment process, and possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage the ongoing enrollments throughout the year. No experience needed, but preferred. In‑house training is available. Responsibilities Provide personalized enrollment assistance to employees via the call center or face-to-face environment. Explain available benefits and assist employees with the enrollment process. Manage enrollment records throughout the year. Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails for specific employer groups. Maintain multiple projects, ensuring quality and quantity of work while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and respect for employee privacy as per corporate policies. Perform other functions as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of enrollment experience (preferred). Call center experience (preferred but not required). High School Diploma required. Strong communication skills to deliver the benefits message for each employer group and guide employees through their benefits package. Texas Life & Health license required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Professional interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Knowledge or willingness to learn employee benefit plans, including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, short-term and long-term Disability, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity plans. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high ends of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by factors including experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity of the role, and scheduled hours. Medical/dental/vision plans from day one.
