Human Resources Intern

Job Description Job Description Staff Source is seeking a Human Resources Intern to assist with all aspects of Staffing and Human Resources. Duties: Recruiting · Actively participate in the entire recruiting process * Create job postings * Review resumes, conduct phone screenings and interview qualified candidates * Attend job fairs and participate in recruiting events * Assist with providing orientation and training to new hires * Complete all new hire paperwork with employees * Create job orders * Assist recruiters with filling job orders * Issue counseling statements to employees that violate company policy Payroll * Collect and review employee hours weekly * Review any payroll discrepancies * Issue write-up's for attendance violations * Collect and manage leave requests (FMLA, vacation requests, etc) Administrative * General administrative duties (filing, faxing, answering phones etc) * Monitor the proper completion of paperwork * Assist in establishing new procedures * Develop spreadsheets and reports as needed * Maintain employee files Requirements: * Communicate with candidates and clients in a professional manner * Previous customer service experience preferred * Excellent written & oral communication skills * Must possess outstanding time management and organizational skills * Strong computer skills required * Ideal candidates will be currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Management or similar Company Description Staff Source is a Staffing agency that places individuals on a Temporary, Temp to Hire, and Direct Hire basis in industrial and manufacturing settings.
