The Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis for Leica Biosystems (“LBS”) is an influential business partner for the organization, helping improve financial stability and decision making. You will also play a role in some global ad-hoc projects as well as implementing process improvements.You will be a part of the Global LBS Finance Team and report to the CFO, responsible for ensuring that all financial planning and reporting is accurate, business focused and in line with Danaher guidelines, as well as maintaining compliance.Primary Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide LBS budgeting, forecasting and actual reporting processes including all related deliverables (Flash reports, Forecast & Actual Narratives, Forecast review files, President’s letter inputs, budget presentations, strategy financials).Drive strong financial stability through closing process, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy.Champion DBS-based continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and reporting tools.Enable financial stability through systems, transparency and understanding of the business constraints.Support strategic initiatives, operating reviews, and ad hoc global projects across the business.Required Skills/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred. 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership responsibility in planning, forecasting, financial analysis, business partnership, and performance management. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams across a geographically dispersed, global environment. Track record of influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization. Experience operating within a multinational organization; experience in a U.S. or European matrixed environment is preferred. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, or equivalent is preferred. Strong communication, judgment, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
