Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant | $95,000 to $115,000 + Bonus/Benefits Brilliant is working with a growing organization in the AEC space that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting process, working through month end close, and having exposure to a variety of accounting functions. The role will work closely with the broader accounting and finance team and offers the opportunity for continued growth within the organization. Responsibilities: Manage and support the monthly, quarterly, and year end close process Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement analysis Assist with financial reporting and preparation of monthly financial statements Manage general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial records Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities as needed Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assist with annual audits and tax-related requests Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Work cross functionally with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and provide financial information Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Experience with month end close and financial statement preparation Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team CPA or CPA candidacy is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Brilliant®
